The Bombay cafe-inspired group says its 150-cover restaurant, rarely seen without a long queue outside, will undergo a major redesign ahead of its 10th anniversary next year.
This will include a “significant expansion” in to the former Jamie’s site, which closed following the collapse of the Jamie Oliver Restaurant Group in May.
Further details of the revamp will be announced later this year, but the team say they are planning a more “ambitious” design.
Dishoom Covent Garden was the group’s first restaurant to open in 2010, and the company has since expanded to five London sites and one each in Edinburgh and Manchester.
Twenty sites which traded as part of Oliver's restaurant group were put up for sale earlier this year. The Times reports that the Richard Caring-backed Ivy Collection has acquired two Jamie's Italian sites in Cardiff and London Victoria, as well as the former Barbecoa unit in St Paul's.
