Northern-based Steakhouse group Tomahawk has launched two virtual delivery brands out of its newly-opened Hoxton restaurant.

The first, ParmoHub, is modelled on a core offer of parmo – a dish of flattened breadcrumbed chicken topped with béchamel and cheddar.

Available exclusively through Deliveroo, the menu will include a variety of interpretations on the Teesside classic, including a ‘Hot Shot’ parmo, with chorizo, jalapenos and sriracha; a ‘Caribbean Jerk’ parmo, topped with Caribbean spices, mango and chilli; and a Cheeseburger made with burger meat, bacon jam and gherkins. Parmos come served with beef dripping chips, house salad and garlic mayonnaise.

The second brand, Sunday Lunch Club, will comprise a seven-day roast delivery service with roasts such as wagyu beef, chicken and rolled breast of lamb accompanied by a selection of sides, 24-hour red wine gravy, and a sticky toffee pudding dessert.

The two virtual brands will join Tomahawk’s offer, which includes steakhouses in locations including Teesside, Newcastle and Darlington, as well as a Rio Brazilian Steakhouse and a Pollo Chicken Shop.

The 12-strong Tomahawk business has continued to expand and innovate during the pandemic. The group opened two restaurants in former Jamie Oliver sites, in York and Hoxton, last year and is in negotiations on two further bricks-and-mortar venues that it hopes to open in the summer.
