Med Salleh Kopitiam team launch Vietnamese restaurant in Earl’s Court
The team behind Bayswater Malaysian restaurant Med Salleh Kopitiam have launched a contemporary Vietnamese restaurant in Earl’s Court.
The 35-cover Med Salleh Viet offers elevated takes on Vietnamese staples including summer rolls, barbecued meats, bun noodles and pho.
The kitchen is headed by the Vietnamese-born Syphong Lam, who is the wife of the restaurant’s co-owner Koi Lee.
Dishes include fried chicken drumettes wings; prawn and mango salad; chargrilled whole squid; and the restaurant’s signature black truffle and wagyu beef pho.
Design details include dark wood tables, chairs and floors; turquoise-painted walls; and a Hanoi market scene beautifully painted across one wall.
Lee and his business partner Med Pang launched Med Salleh Kopitiam in 2022.
