Brands to Watch Report 2025

Overview

Brand to watch

Restaurant’s Brands to Watch Report throws the spotlight on 20 UK-based restaurant brands that are helping shape the current eating out landscape and look set for bigger things over the coming years.

The list reflects the varied and diverse nature of the UK’s food scene, including restaurants serving cuisine as varied as Italian, Persian, Mediterranean, Malaysian, Indian, Cantonese, British, Korean, Japanese, and Vietnamese. Brands have been chosen based on a number of criteria, with their initial size, stated expansion plans, current financial success, ownership and any financial backing that they might have taken into account, along with their popularity on social media and general buzz about them.

Also included in this report are brands from overseas that look set to influence the UK’s dining scene over the coming years. While US brands remain the dominant force, we have identified some from Europe and the Middle East that could also make their mark on these shores.
