The new restaurant serves an international menu of ‘deli-style dishes and creative small plates’ that includes nibbles such as baby red peppers stuffed with cheese; and Cobble Lane garlic and fennel salami sticks alongside a range of cured meats and cheeses from Great Britain, Italy, and Spain.
Small plates include burrata, charred cabbage, butter beans, and harissa; salt cod croquettes; boneless chicken a la plancha; fried potato terrine; and mussels escabeche with toasted sourdough baguette, while larger plates include a Trenchmore wagyu smashed slider with mango, manchego, and chorizo; a grilled bavette steak with oyster sauce, rocket, and roasted garlic; and a slow cooked beef short rib bao bun.

The new restaurant space coincides with a full refurbishment of the ground and lower ground floors at the hotel, including a fully redesigned lobby.
“We are excited to invite guests to join us at Rockwell Bistro & Wine Bar giving them a first glimpse into our luxury renovation project,” says Federico Ciampi, London cluster general manager.
“The launch of the suites will set Trafalgar St. James apart as a top five-star destination for both our hotel guests and visitors to the new Rockwell and The Rooftop.”
The next phase of the hotel renovation, due to be unveiled in February, will be the addition of six new suites.
