Bianca’s will be a wine bar and restaurant serving seasonal dishes with influences of Italian and British cuisine.
Adolfo De Cecco, who launched Casa Fofó in 2019 having previously worked as head chef at James Ramsden and Sam Herlihy’s Pidgin, will oversee the menu at Bianca’s, which is described as having ‘a more laid-back and comforting approach’ to its Hackney sister restaurant.
In a nod to traditional Italian osterias, Bianca’s will have a dedicated charcuterie room producing house-made selections served one cut at a time.
The menu will also feature handmade pastas such as pork agnolotti with smoked mackerel broth; and gnocchi with fermented cream and wild garlic.
Other dishes set to feature on the launch menu include sheep’s sausage with mash and crab curry; British wagyu loin with spinach and black beans; and a dessert of salted milk ice cream with rhubarb and seaweed.
The wine list at Bianca’s, chosen by De Cecco, will feature around 100 bins with a focus on natural, low-intervention options.
The interiors will feature high ceilings, exposed brick walls and antique windows, and include an open kitchen with counter seating alongside outdoor tables.
While initially open just in the evenings, Bianca’s plans to introduce a daytime café further down the line serving freshly baked breads, pastries and coffee.
Bianca’s will open on Stoke Newington Road on 24 April.
