The ramen restaurant group has reported an EBITDA of £849,000 and loss before tax of £299,000 for the year to 29 September 2024, compared with a profit of £26,000 the prior year.
This despite an increase in revenues at the business, which were up 4.3% from £18m to £18.8m.
In its latest accounts filed to Companies House, directors said EBITDA for FY24 represented ‘a strong year of trading achieved despite the significant challenges faced by the hospitality industry throughout the year’.
The company added that the ‘robust nature’ of its financial performance, ‘together with its increasing brand awareness’, has allowed it to continue to explore growth opportunities for the group.
Bone Daddies launched in 2012 with a ramen bar in Soho. It currently operates seven restaurants across London under the Bone Daddies brand, as well as two sites under the Flesh & Buns brand and one Shack-Fuyu restaurant.
Its most recent opening was in Leicester Square in 2023.
