In designer outlet Cheshire Oaks, the site will be hot on the heels of a restaurant that officially opens in St Albans tomorrow (16 September).
The Patrick Marrinan-backed group says it is close to securing a number of strong locations for 2026 in both London and the regions, with plans to open seven new sites next year.
Pho has reported group sales up 11.6% to £79.3m for the year to February 2025, with adjusted EBITDA rising 23% to £8.8m (2024: £7,170,966).
Half a dozen or so new openings supported the performance, with recent launches in Tunbridge Wells and Bluewater trading ahead of expectations.
Current trading remains positive, with like-for-like sales up 3.2% despite what the business described as a challenging summer climate, with commuter town sites outperforming forecasts.
Early this year, Pho came together with Rosa’s Thai, and Mowgli Street Food are to come closer together to create the UK’s largest multi-site casual dining operator in the Asian restaurant category.
TriSpan is bringing the three brands together under new holding group Arcturus Group, as part of its Rising Stars fund, which invests in emerging restaurant brands that are poised for significant growth.
Pho was launched by husband-and-wife team Stephen and Juliette Wall in 2005 in London.
“We’ve had a strong end to the summer with some very encouraging LfLs over the last six or seven weeks, particularly dine in,” Marrinan says.
“Our recent opening in Tunbridge Wells has outperformed expectations which, as a new commuter town site, adds support to future openings like St Albans. Our site in Bluewater is trading extremely well, with sales averaging £65,000 per week since opening in June."
