The founder of Vincenzo’s pizzeria in Bushey, known for its whole New York and Naples inspired pies, has taken a site on Bethnal Green Road for his second restaurant, which this time is dedicated to pizza by the slice
Each slice will be cut from a 20-inch pie and will start at £5, with classics like margherita; tomato; and pepperoni sitting alongside new options such as spanakopita; vodka sauce; and burrata. Customers can also customise their order with extras, including hot honey, burrata, and fresh pesto.
Whole 16-inch pies will still be available, but for takeaway.

New York nostalgia
The Shoreditch shop will channel ‘the nostalgic feel of New York slice bars with an east London edge’ with design features that will include mahogany-coloured wall panelling, green-and-white mosaic marble floors, marble countertops, and a coffered ceiling with detailed cornicing.
It will also have a mix of oil paintings, mid-century artworks, and vintage photos to give the restaurant a nostalgic finish that echoes the spirit of the original Bushey shop.
While the focus will be on grab-and-go there will be some seats available for dine in.
Watford born Vincent fell in love with pizza making after exploring famous pie shops across Manhattan and Brooklyn and learning from their makers. He later travelled to Naples to learn the traditions of the birth place of pizza before returning home and building his own pizza oven to invent his own signature style of pizza.
We’re not chasing hype, we’re creating something timeless
Tom Vincent
He opened Vincenzo’s in Bushey in 2022 and the restaurant soon became established as one of the UK’s hottest pizza destinations.
“Pizza is simple: dough, sauce and cheese, but the slice shop is about more than that,” says Vincent.
“It’s the smell, the art, the queue, the first bite. Shoreditch will carry the same nostalgia as Watford, but in a space that feels bigger, bolder, and built for London.
“We’re not chasing hype, we’re creating something timeless. A slice shop London can call its own.”
