Called 45 London, the venue is part of Roger Payne’s Eclection Group and will sit within the Virgin Hotel London-Shoreditch. It will bring together a signature restaurant, rooftop dining, co-working areas and lounges, events spaces, a late-night club and lounge, and spa and wellness sanctuary.
45 London will be home to 45 Curtain Road, its signature restaurant that is described as a Japanese-inspired chophouse with Mediterranean influences. The restaurant will combine ‘bold flavours’ with Japanese techniques using both local and Japanese seasonal ingredients and will be led by executive chef Alex Furusawa-Cadoni (pictured below).
The menu will feature a large selection of sharing plates with big-cuts such as T-bone, ribeye and pork chops taking centre stage alongside a selection of sustainably sourced seafood and fish.

There will also be an all-day rooftop restaurant and bar called 45th & 7th that will have a pool and serve guests a sharing-style menu.
In addition, 45 London will have a co-working, events and cocktail bar called Studio 45 and a lounge and late-night club called Parallel 45. The latter will be open Wednesday to Saturday and will be an intimate lounge and cocktail bar featuring curated playlists, live DJs, guest mixologists and members-only gatherings.
“45 London represents a new era of hospitality, one where dining, wellness, work and nightlife come together under one roof,” says Roger Payne. “Our vision is to create a modern house of hospitality that reflects the electric energy of Shoreditch while offering a curated, elevated experience for both members and guests.
“We’re proud to bring this ambitious project to life alongside our partner, Virgin Hotel, to establish 45 London as a new cultural and social landmark for the city.”

Other elements of 45 London include a spa and Membership at 45 London, a membership scheme that offers priority access to the venue’s facilities as well as early booking privileges for events and spa treatments. Other benefits include complimentary entry to the club and lounge, access to the co-working spaces and members’ bar, and exclusive savings on dining and drinks across the venue.
“Since opening last year, Virgin Hotels London-Shoreditch has quickly established itself as a destination of choice – becoming a vibrant fixture in east London with our brand-new listening bar, Hidden Grooves, and offering something refreshingly different in the city’s hotel scene,” says David Monson, general manager at Virgin Hotels London-Shoreditch.
“The addition of 45 London builds on that momentum, elevating our dining, wellness, and social experiences even further. Together, they create a seamless and dynamic destination – one that will continue to delight our regular guests while enticing new visitors to discover everything Shoreditch has to offer.”
