North American comfort food brand Brewski and Caribbean Street Food restaurant Jerk Junction are among a number of restaurants to open in Liverpool ONE in the coming months.

Opening in November, Brewski will make its city debut on Liverpool ONE’s Leisure Terrace in a 4,700sq ft site alongside Wagamama and Smoke & Dough. The 200-cover restaurant, which includes a 78-cover terrace, will serve a rotating menu of dishes that will include burgers, dirty fries and poutine.

The Liverpool restaurant will join its sites in Chester, Chorlton, and Sheffield.

“On the road to expansion, it is crucial that we cherry-pick locations with a stellar reputation that guarantee a dedicated and varied customer base,” say James Daly and Steven Stockton-King, directors at Brewski.

“Liverpool ONE provides a strong foundation as we look to make our Liverpool debut, and we know this new restaurant is sure to be a successful one.”

Jerk Junction will add to its Chorlton, Manchester, and Wilmslow sites with a 4,100sq ft restaurant on Paradise Street. The 50-cover restaurant will serve a menu of Caribbean street food, such as curried goat and jerk loaded fries.

They will be joined at the development by Mexican restaurant Madre, which will double up in the city with a 4,400sq ft sister site this winter. Salon Madre will be home to a tequila-led pool hall, taqueria and bar as well as several private party spaces.

Landlord Landsec has reported an 8.5% increase in year-to-date F&B sales at Liverpool ONE, aided by new openings that include fried chicken brand Wingstop’s city debut.

“A strong dining offer is fundamental to any successful mixed-use destination, and we are delivering a unique line-up that both responds to demand and keeps guests returning time and time again,” says Rob Deacon, director of asset management at Liverpool ONE – Landsec.
