The company has received a £10m investment from Santander UK, HSBC UK, and Barclays UK Corporate Bank, adding to the £60m facility agreed with Santander, HSBC, and Barclays in April last year.
“Flight Club and Electric Shuffle have always been about bringing people together for incredible experiences,” says CFO Ross Shepley-Smith.
“This investment allows us to continue our growth, open more venues, and keep innovating for our guests. We’re excited to work with our three banking partners as we take the next step in our journey.”
The competitive socialising group, which celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2025, has opened an Electric Shuffle in King’s Cross in London this year and will open a Flight Club in Newcastle on 7 November.
“The business has gone from strength to strength and has positioned itself as a leader in the competitive socialising sector. We’re thrilled to be working with the team once again as they enter the next chapter of their growth story,” says Luke McSorley, senior relationship director at Santander Corporate and Commercial Banking.
The competitive socialising sector continues to grow in the UK. This week PINS Social Club in Liverpool confirmed its plans to open what it says is the biggest new hospitality venue in Manchester in recent years in late spring 2026.
The group has submitted plans for the new, multi million pound site in the newly refurbished Sunlight House building on Quay Street for a 25,000sq ft venue that will span three floors.
