Group behind world’s first three-star Indian restaurant to open a site in Mayfair

Dubai-based modern Indian restaurant Trèsind has announced that it is coming to London.

In an Instagram post with an image of its brand and the words ‘coming soon’ on the doors of a building, it revealed that it was opening a site in Mayfair.

It says: “A journey of flavour, creativity, and elegance awaits, as a new chapter unfolds - Trèsind London Mayfair.”

Operated by Passion F&B in Dubai, Trèsind opened in 2014 and is described as offering ‘an immersive gastronomic experience that celebrates India’s rich heritage through a modern lens’.

In 2018 the group opened Trèsind Studio, located in the St. Regis Dubai, at The Palm, which earlier this year become the first Indian restaurant in the world to receive three Michelin stars.

Passion F&B was founded by Bhupender Nath and has Himanshu Saini as its corporate chef. It operates a number of brands across Dubai and Indian including Tresind Studio, Tresind, Carnival by Tresind, Avatara, Maison De Curry, Bistro Aamara, A Cappella, Nonnaverse, Viva La Goa and Gala By Tresind.
