Called Soom, the Korean BBQ restaurant is located on St Martin’s Lane in Covent Garden and offers a BBQ experience where diners gather around the grill to cook and share a selection of meats and vegetables.
Alongside the BBQ experience, the restaurant serves a menu of traditional and contemporary Korean dishes as well as a concise dessert offer that nods to both Korean traditions and modern favourites.
The drinks list includes a selection of soju, Korean-inspired cocktails, and teas.
The restaurant interior is described as blending traditional Korean aesthetics with a contemporary lens. Each stone table is fitted with a concealed electric BBQ grill and in the heart of the main dining floor is a circular, 12-seat centrepiece (pictured below).

Adjacent to this is the ground floor bar with elements such as Goryeo celadon vases, a glowing hanji-wrapped bar counter, and a mother-of-pearl artwork that depicts a serene Korean landscape.
Toward the rear of the main dining space is a two-meter-wide circular gong traditionally used in Korean rituals.
