Located on Poland Street, La Familia is described as being Barrio Shoreditch’s ‘cooler, older sister’ – and is inspired by the taquerias of Mexico City.
Upstairs will be La Familia Taqueria, a bright and informal dining space serving tacos, quesadillas, elotes and guacamole, alongside Mexican Coke, Jarritos, Aqua de Jamaica and Margaritas.
It will offer counter service with food coming in sustainable ‘Instagrammable’ packaging.
Downstairs will be a Latin-inspired cocktail bar ‘that celebrates elevated serves, great music, and a signature Soho energy’.

Nightcap acquired the Barrio brand in 2021.
