Inspired by the golden age of New York’s live lounge, Esmeralda’s Mayfair is founded by identical twin brothers Lee and Nicky Caulfield and will launch at the Hanover Square property in early December.
The venue will feature live music courtesy of a six-piece band as well as DJ sets which will be accompanied by a menu of comfort food ‘elevated with playful decadence’, with dishes to include caviar-topped chicken nuggets; wagyu sliders; lobster rolls, and oyster towers, as well as skinny fries served on silver.
A cocktail list will pay homage to the classics, and fine wine, champagne, and rare spirits will complete the drinks offer.
“Creating Esmeralda’s has been about shaping an experience rather than simply opening a bar. Every detail - from the music, drinks and guests’ experience has been curated to feel deliberate, personal, and alive,” says Nicky, who is the CEO and founder of Molto Music Group.
“We’ve obsessed over sound and space: the band is close, the mix is warm, and the room invites you in. It’s a place where artists can take risks and guests can disappear for hours without a phone in sight.”
“Esmeralda’s will be a place for guests to disappear for hours, let their hair down and feel completely themselves. No cameras, no performance - just the best live music, service and a sense of freedom you cannot manufacture,” adds Lee, who is co founder of Circle PR.
