The venue will make its debut in London in a former bank located in the heart of St James’s at 11 Waterloo place.
Established in Ibiza in 2018 the restaurant was created by chef Christos Fotos, Jem Akyuz and his son Ilhan. The group also includes Humain by Jul’s located in Athens.
Continuing its focus on sustainability the new restaurant will collaborate with farms around London to create a menu that reflects a contemporary Mediterranean style with options like giouvetsi, flatbread with slow-cooked lamb; and grilled fish over an open fire.
Jul’s London is also set to offer wines from global winemakers to offer a selection of traditional, natural and biodynamic options.
The venue will also include a late-night bar, No.11, located downstairs and run by directors Vasilis Sgouromallis and Dimitris Karapanos offering a cocktail list that will reflect the cuisine.

The interior pairs dark structure with warm toned lighting to reflect a south European style. The design also includes natural textures such as a scorched wood flooring.
The London debut was announced by Jul’s on its Instagram in late October, stating that the building offered ‘high ceilings, timeless facades and the unmistakable Jul’s spirit.’
The new restaurant will be one of a number of new developments in the area joining the recently opened Japanese restaurant Aki, also situated within a former bank.
