Healthy food restaurant, known in Europe as Honest Greens, is launching its first UK site this month in London under the name hg Soho.

Guided by a real-food philosophy, Honest Greens embraces ethically sourced products, serves an extensive range of vegetables and grass-fed meats, cooks exclusively with olive oil and where possible, works with local artisans.

The brand has been billed as ‘chef-driven and plant forward’ with a menu that, while offering meat and fish, focuses predominantly on vegetables.

Since opening its first site in Barcelona in 2017, Honest Greens has expanded across Europe, offering a range of health-driven dishes across Madrid, Valencia, Lisbon, Cascais, Porto and Paris.

The brand is known for its Mediterranean flavours and open-fire cooking. Its menu features a range of market plates (served with a choice of salad or bread), such as homemade falafel with tahini sauce; as well as garden bowls, including the spicy feta bowl.

Diners can also customise their meals with additional proteins, including piri piri chicken, herb tofu, and steak chimichurri and finish their dish by choosing from a selection of sauces made with homemade olive oil.

Honest Greens also offers sharing plates such as roasted pear with stracciatella and pistachio pesto; and roasted cauliflower with tahini and harissa.

Drink options range from kombucha and infused water to organic wine and a small selection of craft beers, including an alcohol-free option alongside the Honest Blond and Honest IPA.

Hg Soho will open on 12 December at 21 St Anne’s Court, London W1F 0BJ.
