Earnshaw, who is head chef of Bohemia restaurant at The Club Hotel & Spa in Jersey, was presented the award at last night’s Michelin event, held in Dublin.
He was promoted to the role at the restaurant, the only one on the island to hold a Michelin-star, in June last year, replacing Callum Graham.
Earnshaw’s career has included working at four Michelin-starred restaurants including Moor Hall Restaurant, Northcote and The Samling hotels, before joining Bohemia as sous chef in 2023.

Other awards handed out at the event included Opening of the Year, that was awarded to Sierra Leonean chef Maria Bradford’s (pictured above) debut restaurant Shwen Shwen in Sevenoaks. The restaurant, which serves high-reaching Afro-fusion, was last week awarded a Bib Gourmand by the guide.
Sommelier of the Year was awarded to Roxanne Dupuy, executive head sommelier at Row on 5, while Sebb’s in Glasgow, which was also awarded a Bib Gourmand last week, was presented with the Exceptional Cocktails Award.
The guide also named Barbara Nealon from Saint Francis Provisions in Cork as its 2026 Service Award winner.
Michelin also revealed its new one and two star restaurants at last night’s ceremony.
