Reopening next month, it will offer an expanded food and drink menu, new events, and the return of its popular margarita masterclasses.
The concept, which debuted in 2025, became known for its blend of street‑food flavours, agave‑forward cocktails and high‑tempo Latin‑influenced parties. The team behind it say they will build on that momentum with a bigger programme for 2026.
This year’s line‑up includes a new bottomless brunch, Bottomless Wing Wednesdays, 20% off back‑bar drinks on Thursdays, and a daily Happy Hour after 8pm.

New dishes will include a coconut shrimp taco, vegan birria taco, crispy chicharrone, jalapeño poppers, and a dessert Mc‑apple pie quesadilla.
The drinks list has been expanded with serves including the Hot Honey Daisy, Churros Old Fashioned, Baja Blast, and Mexican Wave cocktails. Guests can also order mini Dirti Margatinis for £5 and take advantage of 90‑minute bottomless Micheladas and Bloody Marias during brunch.

Picante will also screen World Cup games throughout June and July and run a series of daytime parties on its terrace across the summer.
Its Margarita Masterclasses, hosted by Cocktail Kate, will run every Saturday. Each 90‑minute session includes a look at the history of the Margarita, hands‑on cocktail making, tequila tasting, and quesadillas.
A new Tequila Tasting Friday will be held monthly, exploring Blanco, Reposado and Añejo styles.

Picante is led by a group of independent hospitality operators (pictured above): Joe Wild (Taco or Don’t), Kate Meehan (Gin Journey, Paloma Café), Sally Jo Whitlow (Jenny’s Bar), and Danny Murphy (Jenny’s Bar, Berry & Rye, Aloha, Botanical Garden, Some Place).
“We absolutely loved introducing our Mexican cantina concept to the city and were blown away by how much people embraced it,” says Murphy.
“For 2026 we’re coming back bigger and better. We’re bringing back the high‑energy, fiery fun that made last year so special.”
Picante will on Friday 13 March and run until the end of September.
