The group, which also operates modern-Australian restaurant Milk Beach in Soho, will run its last service at the Queen’s Park restaurant on 22 March .
Founder of Silver Tree Restaurants Elliot Milne is teaming up with an ‘award-winning sommelier’ to launch a wine bar on the site, which is Lonsdale Road.
The group will also launch a takeaway sushi concept in Soho inspired by sushi bars in Sydney and LA, which is due to open in late summer.
“My dream has always been to have multiple concepts and brands under one group, so this year will be an exciting step forward on that journey,” says Milne.
“Milk Beach Soho has become the identity of the Milk Beach brand and embodies my vision for modern Australian dining and hospitality. While the concept was born in Queen’s Park and will always have a special place in the history of Lonsdale Road, it’s time to give the site a new identity.
“As a Queen’s Park local I believe the area, and West London in general, needs a new kind of wine bar with an energy that doesn’t currently exist.
The original Milk Beach opened in Queen’s Park in 2018 and expanded in 2020. A second site opened on the ground floor site at the redeveloped Ilona Rose House in Soho in 2022.
