Will Devlin to oversee new cafe, wine bar and rooftop restaurant at The Conduit

Will Devlin is partnering with experience specialist Levy and its venue partner members’ club The Conduit for the launch of a restaurant and cafe in Covent Garden.

Based at The Conduit in Langley Street, the new venue will launch to the public in two phases over the coming months, beginning with a café and wine bar opening in early summer, followed by a rooftop restaurant in the autumn.

Devlin, who runs the Kent-based The Small Holding and Birchwood Taywell restaurants under his Acre group, will oversee the venues and ensure they follow Acre’s principles of supporting independent, ethical farming and season-led cooking using locally sourced meat and fish.

Meat will come from Acre’s own butchery, Block, allowing full transparency and whole animal use, with much of the produce it will use grown close to home in Kent and Sussex with a focus on soil health, flavour and resilience.

“We are very excited to bring a little piece of the Kentish countryside to the city.”

Community-focused venue The Conduit occupies a six-floor venue in Covent Garden, which opened in 2021 having previously operated from a site in Mayfair. Levy entered into a partnership with The Conduit in January last year.
