The restaurant, located on Chiswick High Road, occupies the site that was formerly The Silver Birch, which closed in March after a five-year run.
It will have space for 89 covers across three spaces - a 49-cover ground floor dining room, a 14-cover terrace, and a newly developed wine room downstairs, built around the restaurant’s own working wine collection, that will have space for 26 people and will function as a space for pre-dinner drinks, wine tastings and private dining.
Brook & Green will serve an all-day menu drawing on Mediterranean, Asian and British influences and has been ‘built for consistency and repeat use rather than occasion-only dining’, according to the restaurant.
“This isn’t about building a name around one person or one kitchen – it’s about building a restaurant Chiswick will use every week, for years,” says owner Tim Price.
“That’s a different discipline to running a destination restaurant, and it’s exactly what we set out to do here.”
