Sharp's Cornish Pilsner is now available on draught
Sharp's Brewery has launched a draught version of its Cornish Pilsner following its success in bottles.

Product details:

North Cornwall-based brewery Sharp’s has launched a draught version of its Cornish Pilsner. The 5.2% abv beer is Sharp's first keg lager and follows its successful launch last August in bottles. Clear and refreshing with a herbal lemon aroma, the lager is brewed using Pilsner malt, whole Saaz hops and a Czech lager yeast which is then flavoured with English thyme. It is available in 30L keg and 330ml bottles.

The beer was named the World’s Best Lager in the World Beer Awards 2013 and picked up a Silver medal in this year’s International Beer Challenge.

Available on demand.

The Pilsner will firstly be available in pubs in the South West, the South of England, London and the Midlands before being rolled out elsewhere. Visit for more information.

Why you should buy it:

The beer has achieved the highest return on sales in Sharp's portfolio so far, so the brewer is confident it will be a success on draught. Stuart Howe, head of craft brewing and innovation at Sharp’s, said: “We are very excited and incredibly proud to present Cornish Pilsner to publicans and their customers. The brewing team at Sharp’s can take great satisfaction from the response and awards that this beer has already received. Premium lager drinkers are looking for quality products and a great flavour profile and Cornish Pilsner is able to offer this to consumers.”
