Pan Asian tapas restaurant Gamma Gamma will launch at a two-storey Soho site next month.

Launching at 6 Greek, the restaurant will take the site formerly occupied by East Asian barbecue restaurant Bo Drake, which closed in mid-June.

Gamma Gamma will serve a menu of fusion tapas for sharing, which will employ exotic meats such as zebra, ostrich and kangaroo.

Dishes include an Asian take on a Nicoise salad, made with seared nori tuna loin, truffle potato, green beans and cherry; jackfruit curry; scallop and tiger prawn cheung-fun with black vinegar; jungle curry made with minced ostrich loin; zebra loin tataki with charred grapes and popcorn; and a croque monsieur made with duck prosciutto, gruyere cheese, and shaved truffle.

The drinks offering will include a list of Asian-inspired cocktails; sake; and wine.

Spanning the ground and basement levels of the site, the restaurant’s interiors will be sophisticated and minimal in style.

Gamma Gamma founders Sakib Ahmed and Romo Chowdhury secured the site through property agent Restaurant Property.

"We're delighted that we were able to secure such a prominent site in the heart of Soho for the owners of Gamma Gamma and we wish them every success for the opening," say agents Danielle Agami and Gabriella Sether at the company.
