The Curlew restaurant closes and is put up for sale
The former coaching inn has been owned by Mark and Sara Colley since 2009 and held a Michelin star from 2011-15.
But the couple are now selling up and have appointed Fleurets to market the 64-cover restaurant.
“It is with a heavy heart we leave The Curlew, having dedicated 10 years into creating a nationally renowned dining destination,” says the Colley’s.
“Our dream was to create one of the finest eating locations in the South East, and during our tenure we won a Michelin Star and numerous county awards, as well as countless applauds from industry critics and customers alike. We are excited to see how the next chapter of The Curlew’s life will unfold. Whether that’s casual dining, gastro pub or fine dining, The Curlew has many followers who will undoubtedly support the new owners.”
The sale includes owner’s accommodation with three bedrooms, a garden and car park.
The Curlew was previously put up for sale in 2016.
