Restaurant group Fridays is the latest company to enter the home delivery market with the launch of its Fridays at Home range of meat boxes.

The group has created three Butcher’s Boxes to choose from – The Famous, The Signature and The Legends - with each containing enough meat for several meals, that is delivered the customers’ doors.

Ingredients include marinated baby back pork ribs, Cumberland and BBQ sausages and burgers made from cuts of brisket and chuck steak as well as ribeye and sirloin steaks.

Boxes start at £75 and rise to £95 for one containing four steaks, four racks of ribs, 12 sausages, four burgers and three sauce portions. Ingredients arrive frozen, allow recipients to choose how much to defrost at once because there is enough for several meals, says Fridays.

“Over the last few months, we’ve been working tirelessly to bring the Fridays Feeling to our fan’s home through our Click & Collect and delivery services. We are excited that Butcher’s Boxes are the latest addition to the Fridays at Home range,” says Fridays CEO Robert B. Cook.

The boxes are part of the casual dining group’s reopening strategy that also incudes the launch of a ‘Famous at Fridays’ simplified menu that is exclusively available at the first six restaurants in the group's 66-strong portfolio to move to its new Fridays branding - Covent Garden, Leicester Square, Birmingham Hagley Road, Nottingham, Manchester Royal Exchange, and Glasgow Buchanan Street.

The new menu includes the return pot stickers and the cobb salad, dishes which the company says led to the brand’s original success, as well as a revamped version of its loaded potatoes skins, which is says were invented by the company in 1974.

The menu has been simplified to help reduce food wastage, it says.

The group is also refreshing its bar offer.
