Sichuan restaurant Zhang Liang Malatang to make London debut

A Chinese restaurant group with more than 5,000 sites across the Asia-Pacific region will make its European debut later this summer having secured a site on Shaftesbury Avenue in London.
Former Nahm chef David Thompson has secured a site in London's Chinatown for his Long Chim casual Thai restaurant, which is expected to launch later this year.
London landlords Shaftesbury and Capital & Counties Properties (Capco) are in advanced talks on a £3.5bn merger that would bring tourist hotspots including Covent Garden and Soho under common ownership.
