Cantonese roast meat specialist Three Uncles will open its second site in the City next month.
The group, which has restaurants at Camden’s Hawley Wharf and Brixton, will open a site at 3 Old Bailey in St Paul's on 1 November.
Three Uncles was founded by childhood friends and chefs Cheong Yew (Uncle Lim), Pui Sing Tsang (Uncle Sidney) and Mo Kwok (Uncle Mo) in 2019 with a siu mei kiosk near Liverpool Street station. It specialises in homemade chopped-to-order Cantonese roast duck, crispy pork belly (siu yuk) and char siu pork.
Other items on its menus include lo mein noodles and a selection of dim sum such as char siu bao; lamb dumplings with chilli vinegar; curry fishballs; wontons in chilli oil; and pork and prawn siu mai.
