Tomos Parry’s Soho restaurant Mountain is only new UK entry on The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 51-100 list for 2024, ranking at number 94.

It is one of five London restaurants to make the high-profile awards’ longlist this year.

Shoreditch restaurant Brat, which is also led by Parry as part of the Super 8 Restaurants group, placed highest at 65, with Lyle’s and Core by Clare Smyth placing 87 and 97 respectively.

Daniel Willis, Isaac McHale and Johnny Smith’s The Clove Club, meanwhile, has fallen out of the top 50 list, coming in at number 80 this year.

Publication of this year’s 51-100 list comes ahead of the unveiling of The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2024, which will be revealed at an awards ceremony in Las Vegas on Wednesday 5 June.

The 51-100 list includes 12 new entries from 11 different cities.

Thirteen entries are from Asia, 23 from Europe, six from North America, five from South America, one from the Middle East, one from Africa and one from Oceania

The highest new entry in the 51-100 list is Atelier Moessmer Norbert Niederkofler in Brunico, Italy, at 52.

“This year’s extended list is a true representation of global gastronomy,” says William Drew, director of content for The World’s 50 Best Restaurants.

“With restaurants located across six continents, we’re thrilled to see so many new entries from exciting names that are making their mark on the dining world.
