Cocotte returns to expansion trail with new Richmond restaurant
The group has secured the former Antipodea site on Hill Street for what will be its sixth location in the capital.
Cocotte was founded by a group of Parisian friends and is led by managing director Romain Bourrillon, whose CV includes the Michelin-starred Villa Lauraine in Belgium.
It launched its first site in Notting Hill in 2016 and has since gone on to establish restaurants in Shoreditch, Parsons Green, Queen’s Park and South Kensington.
As with the group’s other sites, Cocotte’s 62-cover Richmond outpost will major in 'traditional' rotisserie chicken that’s marinated for 24 hours in a 'secret blend' of herbs and spices before being roasted on the spit.
Other dishes to feature will include chicken and truffle croquettes; traditional French remoulade; and the Cocotte Caesar salad.
Cocotte Richmond will also see beef introduced on the menu for the first time with a range of steaks available to order alongside sides such as fries; truffle mac and cheese; and tenderstem broccoli.
“We are very excited to announce our sixth site with a new angle to our menu,” says Bourrillon.
“I feel that Richmond is a great place to be and am really looking forward to welcoming people in.”
