JM Socials to open 11th restaurant
Circo will be located on Bath Road in Cheltenham and will have a menu focusing on British plates and European classics and will be open from breakfast through dinner.
It will be the 11th restaurant for JM Socials in almost as many years since its inception. The restaurant group was founded by Jay Rahman and Michael Raphel in 2012 when the two restaurateurs decided to bring their love of hospitality, food and the restaurant industry together to open fine dining south Asian restaurant Prithvi in Cheltenham.
JM Social has since grown into a group covering cuisines including dosas, bao, European and French, Cantonese and east Asian, and BBQ with restaurants that include Dosa Darlings and Bhoomi Kitchen in Oxford, and Holee Cow, The Mayflower, For The Saints, and Petit Social in Cheltenham.
“Our ambition for JM Socials is to continue expansion across Cheltenham and Oxford, whilst retaining high quality food and service,” says Rahman.
“It was always our aim to challenge ourselves and push the boundaries of local cuisine by offering something unexpected.”
The company is due to launch a cook book later this year detailing the dishes cooked at Prithvi and also says it is targeting a Michelin star.
“To be awarded a star for one of our venues would be a lifetime achievement for us both,” adds Rahman.
