Mission Mars saw year-on-year revenue rise 43% in the final quarter of 2024, boosted by the continued expansion of Rudy’s Pizza and the opening of Albert’s Schloss’s first London site.

The group achieved total revenue of £31.6m for the three-month trading period ending 29th December 2024.

Growth was supported by the addition of 11 new Rudy’s Pizza Napoletana locations and the opening of Albert’s Schloss, Soho, with the group seeing many site records broken.

During the festive trading period from 2 December 2024 to 5 January 2025, the group recorded 13% like-for-like (LFL) sales growth compared to the same five-week period in 2023.

Rudy’s 28-strong portfolio achieved 48% revenue growth over the period, driven by a combination of organic expansion and the steady performance of new venues, while Albert’s Schloss’s four sites (London, Manchester, Birmingham and Liverpool) reported a 45% revenue increase, reaching £7.1 m over the festive period.

“We are pleased with the trading results for the past quarter, particularly the Christmas period, where both our established and newer venues performed well,” says Roy Ellis, chief executive of Mission Mars

“These results reflect the commitment and effort of our colleagues.”

Ellis adds that Rudy’s expansion has continued into the new year with locations in Prestwich and Newcastle-upon-Tyne both launching in Q1 2025 so far.

Both sites are seeing ‘positive early performance’, he says.
