Jack’s Creek Wagyu X is a premium cross of wagyu and black angus cattle, which are bred and raised on the natural pastures in central New South Wales.

“We’re delighted to be working in partnership with Ocado Retail to extend our reach within the UK and bring some of our finest products to its customers,” says Kaine Allan, VP & head of sales at Jack’s Creek.

“This is the first time our Wagyu X beef will be available in retail, and we’re thrilled to be taking it nationwide, exclusively with Ocado.

“The UK has a sophisticated and increasingly diverse palate when it comes to steak, resulting in a growing demand for prestige cuts and premium cattle varieties that are known for their intricate marbling and superior eating quality.

“Our Wagyu X cattle graze the rich Australian grasslands for their entire lives and then for the final 400 days they feed on a specifically formulated diet of high-quality feed grains. This balanced feeding process enhances the marbling and rich flavour that Wagyu beef is celebrated for, resulting in a truly exceptional product.”

Jack’s Creek & Albers, which is a partnership between Jack’s Creek and a German food importer Albers, took home the World’s Best Steak award at both the 2024 and 2023 World’s Steak Challenge

In 2024, the accolade went to its grain-fed pure bred wagyu sirloin, which was also named the World’s Best Grain-Fed Sirloin, the World’s Best Wagyu, and Oceanian’s Best Steak.
