Condé Nast Traveller reveals its UK’s Top New Restaurants

Venues including Albatross Death Cult, Ambassadors Clubhouse, Josephine Bouchon, Riverine Rabbit and Skof have been named among the UK’s top new restaurants by Condé Nast Traveller.

Announced last night (10 March) at an event in London, awards were handed out to chefs and restaurateurs in a number of categories.

The small Somerset town of Bruton was home to two winners - Osip, which was named Top New Sustainable Restaurant of 2024 and Briar at Number One Bruton, which was named Top New Hotel Restaurant.

Other winners included Emma Denney from Claridge’s, who was named Top New Sommelier of 2024 and Kirk Haworth, chef-patron at Plates, who took home the title of Top New Chef.

Nathaniel Morley from The Greyhound in London was named The One to Watch while Fergus Henderson was presented with The Lifetime Achievement Award.

The awards also named the UK’s top new restaurants (listed below) as well as a reader’s choice vote, which went to Sonnet Restaurant in Alnwick, Northumberland.
