Jeremy King has introduced a discount for late night diners across both his London restaurants in a bid to encourage people to re-acquaint themselves with eating dinner after 9pm.

The renowned restaurateur has launched a 25% ‘night owls’ discount at both his Arlington restaurant in Mayfair and The Park in Queensway, which is set to run from tonight (7 April) until Tuesday 30 December.

Diners who book from 9:15pm (9pm on Sundays) at The Park and 9:45pm (9pm on Sundays) at Arlington will receive 25% off the total bill.

Writing in his latest newsletter, King said that London had progressively become a city that eats early, and that late night dining is now ‘a sadly too rare occurrence’.

“What has become apparent to me is that Londoners are eating earlier and earlier and becoming strangers to the joy and fun of late night dining,” King wrote.

“I am determined to capture back the night and encourage people to re-acquaint themselves with sitting down to dinner after 9pm.”

King launched both Arlington and The Park last year under his eponymous Jeremy King Restaurants group.

He is set to add a third restaurant to his estate this year with the relaunch of historic London dining destination Simpson’s in the Strand.

King previously led the Corbin & King restaurant group alongside his business partner Chris Corbin, but lost control of the business in 2022 following a prolonged and very public battle for ownership with its major shareholder, Minor International.

Minor now leads the group, whose estate includes The Wolseley, Brasserie Zédel, The Delaunay, Colbert and Manzi’s, under the moniker of The Wolseley Hospitality Group.
