London is to get yet another food hall with the opening of a venue in Tower Bridge.

Called Tower Bridge Collective (TBC), the new 16,000sq ft food hall will be opened by Blend Family and will bring together13 globally inspired food partners - yet to be announced - under one roof.

It will be located on the ground floor of a net zero carbon development by FORGE Partnership next to Tower Bridge and will operate entirely on 100% electric energy.

“We couldn’t be more excited to bring Tower Bridge Collective to life,” says Matt Bigland, CEO of Blend Family.

“This project represents everything we stand for- incredible food, community connection, and a commitment to sustainability. We can’t wait to welcome Londoners and visitors alike to experience this one-of-a-kind space.”

This new venture will join Blend Family’s portfolio of food halls, including Cutlery Works and Cambridge Street Collective in Sheffield, as well as Kargo MKT in Manchester.

Cambridge Street Collective was recently named Best Food Hall at the 2024 British Street Food Awards.

The opening of TBC comes amid a raft of activity in the food hall space within the capital. Earlier this month Corner Corner opened in Canada Water a partnership between KERB and Broadwick. Boxpark will open BOXHALL City this month, also with 13 traders, within the Metropolitan Arcade on Liverpool Street.

Last month Market Halls opened its latest venue, an 11,000sq ft site in Paddington.
