Located in St. Regis Dubai, The Palm, the restaurant launched in 2018 as a more experimental counterpoint to its sister restaurant Trèsind.
Currently ranked at number 13 on The World’s 50 Best Restaurants list, Trèsind Studio guides diners through a ‘nuanced yet approachable’ exploration of 17 dishes that tell the story of the country’s rich and diverse cultural, agricultural and religious heritage.
Resembling an intimate theatre, the 20-seater restaurant’s focal point is the open lab-like kitchen where guests can watch each intricately plated dish come to life.
Saini is known for incorporating natural elements in his presentation, be it fresh flowers, leaves, shells, butterflies or locally sourced ceramics in organic form.
According to the Michelin Guide Dubai, Trèsind Studio’s surprise multi-course tasting menu is ‘a masterpiece of originality, intrigue and precision’ featuring ‘flavours and tastes from all four compass points of India’.
Dubai now has two restaurants that hold a three star rating with FZN by Björn Frantzén having also been given maximum marks by the guide this year.
This year Michelin Guide Dubai also announced two new one star restaurants as well as five Bib Gourmands.
