The US burger brand, which made its UK debut in Cardiff in April, has earmarked Swansea, Southampton, Bristol, Manchester, York and Leeds as the locations for its next restaurants, according to The Sun.
The Swansea restaurant is set to open in late August, while the chain is expected to open sites in Southampton and Manchester around October, according to the paper.
The restaurants will be open for breakfast and will be available on Uber Eats for delivery.
Founded in California in 1941, Carl’s Jr. is one of the most popular QSR chains in the world, operating more than 3,600 franchised or company-operated restaurants across its US and international estate.
The brand has equally ambitious targets over here, with David Moffat, country manager for Carl’s Jr. UK, telling Restaurant earlier this year that the group has a rollout target of 100 restaurants on these shores over the next four years.
Carl’s Jr. also told the paper that it will be introducing a new burger to its summer menu at the end of the month.
