Chicken wing brand Wingers has taken its restaurant estate to 16 sites with the opening of two new venues.

The brand, which serves a menu of chicken tenders; loaded jerk fries; mac ‘n’ cheese tenders; wraps; burger; and milkshakes, has opened sites in Andover, and Rotherham.

Wingers was founded in June 20202 during the pandemic by brothers Amran and Dylan Sunner and their father Bill and was launched as a franchise in the autumn of 2022.

“Opening two restaurants on the same day is a first for Wingers and what a way to celebrate five years in business, says operations director Amran. “Since we set up in our dark kitchen during Covid, my brother Dylan and I supported by our incredible team, have seen the business go from strength to strength. We do try and give ourselves a pat on the back every now and then because of how far we have come.”

The brothers are looking to grow the brand via franchising and say eight more Wingers will open by the end of this year, with a further 10 sites secured and scheduled to open in 2026.

They also say that they are on track to meet their goal of opening 50 restaurants by the end of 2027.
