Italian restaurant brand Piccolino will open its first restaurant within a hotel this summer.

The group will open what will be its 23rd restaurant at Hilton London Tower Bridge in a move that it says highlights its ongoing growth strategy to evolve its brands and enter new markets.

The Tower Bridge restaurant will also see the brand serve a breakfast offer for the first time, with the menu to feature contemporary breakfast favourites ‘reimagined with Italian flair’.

Owner Individual Restaurants has expanded the Piccolino brand over the past year with launches in Marlow, Henley-on-Thames and Chichester, as well as a £4m investment into its estate. It reported a year of record-breaking performance with a sales growth of 14% in December 2024.

“This new opening marks a new chapter of Piccolino. This is the first-time we are bringing our signature Italian hospitality into the hotel sector, and we are doing so with a newly elevated look and feel to represent where the brand is heading,” says Andrew Garton, CEO at Individual Restaurants.

“Following a record year, this investment represents a new era for the Piccolino brand, bringing the focus back to the food, the quality, provenance and charm that we are known for.

“We are evolving Piccolino, rooting ourselves in authentic experiences and this partnership with the Hilton is just the beginning.”
