The partnership will see a Kricket menu introduced at all of Sixes’ 10 venues starting with Fitzrovia and Fulham early next month.
In a statement, the two brands said that - obvious name parody aside - ‘Kricket’s bold, modern Indian cooking and relaxed, shareable style make them a natural fit for Sixes’ high-energy, social setting’.
Dishes offered will include Kricket favourites such as Keralan fried chicken, bhel puri, and a range of regional curries.
The news follows a major expansion drive by Kricket, which started life as a pop-up in a shipping container at Pop Brixton in 2015.
In the past 18 months founders Rik Campbell and Will Bowlby have launched two new restaurants - in Canary Wharf and Shoreditch - bringing their total number of London sites to four.
Later this year, the White Rabbit Projects-backed pair will launch a large restaurant in Covent Garden.
The expansion follows a recently secured new round of funding from WRP.
“This is the ideal partnership and an opportunity for us to create a powerful story as we approach summer and the cricket season,” Campbell says. “Kricket will bring a more elevated dine-in experience to Sixes’ already unique blend of fun and entertainment.”
Sixes co-founder Calum Mackinnon added: “Partnering with Kricket and bringing their incredible menu to our Sixes venues is a dream come true. It felt like a perfect match - not only because we’re all about cricket and they’re called Kricket – although, in all honesty, that did help.”
