According to the Argentinian steakhouse group, new locations for Gaucho Go will be announced ‘in the near future’.
It comes after the quick service concept featured at events including Labyrinth on the Thames, BST Hyde Park, and the Goodwood Festival of Speed over the summer.
A statement from the group said: “We’re now expanding Gaucho Go across our broader out-of-restaurant programming.
“The concept has already featured at events like Labyrinth on the Thames, BST Hyde Park, and the Goodwood Festival of Speed, where it was incredibly well received.
“We’re excited to announce new pop-up locations for Gaucho Go in the near future.”
Part of the original line-up of traders at Boxhall City food hall when it launched back in April, Gaucho Go’s inaugural menu featured a tight selection of dishes ‘inspired by the flavours of Argentina and Latin America’.
They included a smoked beef hotdog; steak and chips; empanadas; and a double beef smash burger with smoked ketchup and chimichurri mayonnaise.
Despite only operating for three months, Gaucho described the Boxhall site as a ‘success’ that ‘exceeded all expectations’.
“Gaucho Go at Boxhall was always conceived as a limited-run pop-up to test the concept and gauge consumer engagement - and the response exceeded all expectations,” the group said.
Last week it was reported that chef Joyce Kudia had secured a permanent site for her Congolese-inspired Biléyi by MsJoyceK brand at Boxhall City following the success of a residency at the food hall earlier in the year.
