Macrow joined the fast food giant in 2007 and has since held several senior positions across the UK business and globally, including Global Chief Marketing Officer. He was appointed CEO in 2021.
McDonald’s confirmed to Restaurant’s sister title MCA that Macrow has chosen to pursue new UK-based opportunities outside the business and will officially leave at the end of September.
Schultz, who has been with McDonald’s for 16 years, currently serves as field vice president for the Columbus region in the US. In that role, she oversees around 1,200 restaurants and works with approximately 180 franchisees across seven states.
“It’s been an honour to lead McDonald’s in the UK and Ireland. I’m proud we’ve emerged stronger from Covid and risen to the cost-of-living challenge for our millions of customers every day,” Macrow says.
