Creams Direct will allow customers to order via the new Creams app.
All bookings and orders are managed by Creams with deliveries facilitated using third party drivers.
As well as being able to order the full Creams menu, users will be able to collect loyalty points from delivery orders through the app; something that until now has only been available to dine in customers.
The service will be available across 70% of Creams c.100 UK sites within the next few weeks and is due to roll out across the entire estate by early next year.
With 45% of its customers ordering via delivery, Creams says it anticipates that the new delivery platform will be ‘instrumental in boosting franchisees’ bottom lines’, resulting in increased profitability, as well as encouraging the opening of more sites.
“We are extremely excited to be adding Creams Direct as a new way for customers to access their beloved sweet treats, and a better experience to our customers, without raising prices,” says Everett Fieldgate, Creams Cafe CEO.
“With the whole industry facing pressures from inflation, profitability has never been more important, and Creams Direct will allow us to deliver better profitability to our franchise partners and give us the strategic edge to support our expansion plans in the UK and beyond.”
In order to implement Creams Direct, Creams adds that it has significantly updated its tech stack, bringing in more secure, future proof POS and inventory management systems, and switching its app provider to allow for greater functionality and multi-channel access.
