The high street Italian restaurant chain is offering users of its Club Prezzo app the chance to buy either its Christmas pizza or Christmas carbonara for less than a pound at all its restaurants (excluding Glasgow).
The Christmas Pizza is topped with turkey, brie, stuffing, pigs in blankets, and cranberry ketchup, while the carbonara features roast turkey, sausage stuffing, pigs in blankets and crispy sage.
The offer is valid only for dine-in on Monday 29 September 2025 and diners must pre book and purchase a drink in order to redeem the offer.
The move is part of the chain’s 25th anniversary celebrations but comes at a time when high street chains are competing fiercely for custom. German Doner Kebab recently introduced a Fiver Menu, where a selection of its dishes are available for £5, and Pizza Hut UK has just launched its Crafted Flatzz range of oval flatbread-style single portion pizzas that are priced at £5 each.
Sandwich and coffee chain Pret a Manger also recently introduced a meal deal to help it compete better with the supermarkets.
It is not the first time that Prezzo has run such an offer. On Monday 20 January, typically known as Blue Monday because it is often regarded as the most depressing day of the year it offered a main for 99p and followed this up in June with another one-day offer of a 99p main.
