The Nisha Katona-founded group, which originally launched in Liverpool back in 2014 and now operates 27 sites across the UK, is hoping the move will allow it to reach new customers nationwide as it continues to expand.
“Mowgli is about more than just food - it’s about togetherness, generosity, and the joy of sharing dishes that feel alive with flavour and soul,” says Mowgli CEO Lucy Worth.
“For years, our guests have asked when Mowgli would be available for delivery. Today, thanks to our exclusive partnership with Uber Eats, we can finally bring that experience home.
“I am so proud that our guests across the UK will now be able to enjoy Mowgli wherever they are.”
Mowgli’s delivery menu will echo that served in its restaurants and feature signature dishes including its gunpowder chicken; tamarind treacle fries; mother butter chicken; and temple dahl.
Speaking at the National Restaurant, Pub & Bar Show earlier this week, Worth said the planning involved in delivery is not to be underestimated.
According to a report by MCA, Restaurant‘s sister site, she added that the group is focusing on raising its brand profile and reaching new audiences, and is keen to further build its brand in London following upcoming openings in Dublin and Belfast next year.
Mowgli has been backed by TriSpan since 2023 and is part of its Arcturus Group, the UK’s largest multi-site casual dining operator in the Asian restaurant category, which also counts Pho and Rosa’s Thai as part of its portfolio.
