The restaurant group behind brands including Tattu, Fenix, and Louis has reported a rise in sales and profits in its latest financial results.

Permanently Unique Group says that sales rose to £36.7m in 2024, up from 29.3m the previous year in its accounts for the year ending 31 December 2024.

Operating profit for the year was £4.5m, up from £3m, and profit after tax was £2.9m, up from £2.1m.

The company also reported that Ebitda at site level rose to £9.8m Up from £7.4m) and adjusted company Ebitda was £7.3m (up from £5.4m) from its six restaurants.

The full calendar year Ebitda was £10m and group Ebitda £7.5m when taking into account figures from the launch of Italian-American brand Louis last October, which contributed to profit in the final quarter.

Permanently Unique describes its performance as strong despite difficult trading conditions, with inflationary pressures and high interest rates negatively impacting consumer confidence and disposable income levels. It says it is it is in a fortunate position that ‘the celebratory nature of the brands enables the company to weather the poor economic conditions well’.

The group plans to expand internationally, and construction has begun on its first international location, a Tattu restaurant within Dubai’s Ciel Tower, which will open in the third quarter of the year.

Further projects in development include a flagship site in London for its Greek-Mediterranean restaurant Fenix (pictured), adding to the Manchester location, and a second site for Louis in Dubai, both of which are slated for next year.

A second international site for Tattu is also in the works for later in 2026.

In March, the group promoted managing director Dan Purnell to global CEO ahead of its planned international debut.

It is also understood to be bringing its Louis concept to London, although there was no mention of this in its annual report.
