The London-based restaurant group generated turnover of £64.2m for the year ended 31 December 2024, up from £59.5m the year before.
Profit at an adjusted EBITDA level fell from £5.8m to £2.8m, but pre-tax losses reduced from £8.7m to £5.8m
The Wolseley Hospitality Group, which is owned by Minor Hotels, operates nine restaurants in the capital, including The Wolseley, The Delauney, Brasserie Zedel, Colbert, Fischer’s, Belanger, and Soutine.
In June 2024, the group brought in advisors from AlixPartners to advise on cost management issues.
In September the same year, Baton Berisha stepped down from his role as chief executive at the business after two years with the business.
A new CEO is yet to be announced.
Earlier this year, Minor announced plans to launch hotels under both The Wolseley and Colbert restaurant brands.
The Wolseley Hotels and the Colbert Collection are two of four new hotel brands to be added to the Minor portfolio, which spans more than 560 properties across 57 countries.
Minor describes its vision for The Wolseley Hotels as being ‘rooted in the heritage of the iconic Piccadilly restaurant’.
The Colbert Collection, by contrast, is positioned as ‘a soft brand in the premium segment’.
Writing in The Wolseley Hospitality Group’s accounts, Dillip Rajakarier, Minor Hotels CEO, said: “These new brands are inspired by the emotional equity and enduring legacy of our iconic restaurants.
“Extending them into the hotel space is a natural progression that builds on the restaurants’ distinctive character and guest loyalty in a new format.”
