Elevated sandwich shop My Favourite Sandwich will open a second London site, in Soho, later this month.

Following the success of its debut Shoreditch site, which launched on Commercial Street in March this year, the new venue will open on Soho’s Lexington Street on 15 October.

The brand is known for its pastel pink livery and generous long sandwiches and baps made with inventive fillings inspired by global flavours. The new Soho location will serve its signature sandwiches, such as the Meatball Marinara and Hot Chick crispy chicken sandwich; alongside newcomers such as the El Maradona – made with smoky chorizo and chimichurri; and the Burrata, Pistachio & Mortadella.

Lighter options will include the Soho Salmon and Mi-So Veggie.

“Soho felt like the natural next step for us. It’s creative, energetic, and full of character; everything our brand stands for,” says founder Damien Aiudi.

“We’re not just opening a sandwich shop; we’re creating a space that feels like home, where great food and genuine connection come together.”

The opening will further bolster Soho’s position as London’s hottest sandwich destination following the opening of famed Florentine sandwich shop All’Antico Vinaio on Old Compton Street last month.

The opening has led to queues snaking down the road with people waiting to try its sandwiches that are made with Florentine flatbread schiacciata and include fillings such as salami, pecorino cream, artichoke cream and aubergine, prosciutto crudo and truffle cream.
